With so much to Savour, let’s start here.
What is Savour?
You might have read the ‘About Us’ page; but in case you didn’t:
Savour is a wine-tasting, a wine concierge service, a team-building experience, a treat for your top tier clientele, an aperitif, a drink on the deck with friends, a cork dork experience ‘toute seule’ and the overall experience that encompasses each of these.
The Savour Experience allows the individual(s) to learn something new and interesting about wines and sometimes spirits while enjoying a lyme (as we say it in Jamaica) all the while surrounded by great company in an authentic and laissez-faire environment.Savour evolved from a desire to try new wines in an informative and fun environment. Fueled by a self-diagnosed obsession from my Caribbean upbringing blended with France’s aperitif culture, lead Savourer; Shannon McClure Delebarre combines some of the best aspects of both cultures (namely; delectable food, great wine, compelling conversation, positive company) to create a memorable experience meant to be Savoured.
Savour is a noun and a verb.
It is a wine tasting experience, intended to be enhanced by delicious indulgences and the company you choose (even if it’s your very own).
It is the act of enjoying the simple things in life, appreciating the presence of those around you, of trying something new or embracing something familiar.
It happens when you’re basking in the setting sun, rolling a double six (or even rolling out of turn…. ) in Ludi at the most (in)opportune moment, it’s that satisfying pop of a champagne cork, a toast with someone special; it’s the first bite of your mother’s infamous cooking after a long time apart, or the sound of clattering knives and forks at the dinner table when the cuisine is more captivating than any conversation could be.
It’s that feeling of complete satisfaction, appreciation, and contentment in your present setting – which you can experience with each of your 5 senses.
My goal is to facilitate each guest or client’s own Savour Experience; whether through tastings or through specially curated wine orders and private events.
